ABOUT OUR TINY BEES
It started with bees, beeswax and very dry lips.
Our Tiny Bees began after a few years of keeping bees with my dad. We had plenty of honey and beeswax — and I had permanently dry, cracked lips.
After a little research and plenty of experimenting, I made my first batch of beeswax lip balms. They worked brilliantly. Friends wanted them, then friends of friends wanted them, and eventually I approached a small health food shop in Manchester.
They ordered 80.
That was the start of Our Tiny Bees.
More than 13 years later, we've grown from those first lip balms into a full range of natural skincare, still made by us in Yorkshire.
The bees that started it all and the hands that make every single product.

I'm Jon, founder and maker at Our Tiny Bees.
I still believe in much the same thing I did when I made those first lip balms: good skincare doesn't need to be complicated.
We make concentrated, 100% natural skincare using carefully chosen plant oils, natural butters, British beeswax and essential oils where appropriate. We don't add ingredients simply to make a label longer.
Our products are made to do something useful — whether that's softening dry hands, caring for sensitive skin, nourishing your face or making rough heels feel considerably better.
Everything is made in small batches here in Yorkshire, and we still make and pack our products ourselves.
WHY OUR TINY BEES?
The name came from something I've always believed about bees.
They're not mine or yours. They're ours, and we all have a part to play in looking after them.
We work directly with British beekeepers for our beeswax, which we filter ourselves and use throughout much of our range. We support British producers where we can, never test our products on animals and use recyclable or reusable packaging wherever practical.
OUR RULE IS PRETTY SIMPLE: IF IT ISN'T USEFUL, IT DOESN'T GO IN.
No unnecessary fillers. No synthetic fragrance. No SLS/SLES. No parabens. No trying to make skincare more complicated than it needs to be.
Just naturally effective ingredients, carefully chosen and made into skincare designed to leave your skin softer, more comfortable and better cared for.
