‘When we started out on our soap-making journey we wanted to create a traditional cold process soap that was different to regular shop-bought soap - a cut above. After much testing, recipes and trial and error we settled on 100% coconut oil as our base, the lather is second to none, it's so mild and gentle on the skin. And being ‘superfatted’ - (the rather unflattering term that means more oil is in the soap than chemically turns to soap) it is lovely and moisturising too. Many of our customers use us to help with sensitive skin so having an essential oil-free soap was a necessity.

‘We already had our best-selling Lavender Hand Balm before we started making soaps and knew we had to have a Lavender soap in the range. Why we make it:
‘When we started out on our soap-making journey we wanted to create a traditional cold process soap that was different to regular shop-bought soap - a cut above. After much testing, recipes and trial and error we settled on 100% coconut oil as our base, the lather is second to none, it's so mild and gentle on the skin. And being ‘superfatted’ - (the rather unflattering term that means more oil is in the soap than chemically turns to soap) it is lovely and moisturising too. Many of our customers use us to help with sensitive skin so having an essential oil-free soap was a necessity.

‘We already had our Floral Blend (in our Floral Hand Balm) when we started to make soap - but the Exotic floral and slightly citrus edge to this blend had to be in soap form too! Ylang Ylang is immediately exotic and floral but a very ‘round’ smell so we wanted to liven it up with a little Lavender sharpness and Lemon vibrance. The final blend is warm, exotic and floral with just a hint of citrus peel. A real all-rounder a sweet, floral, and exotic fragrance.’
