HELP TO MANAGE ECZEMA  

Eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, is a chronic skin condition that can cause red, itchy, and inflamed patches on the skin. Managing eczema can be a challenge, but with the right skincare routine, it is possible to reduce symptoms and improve the appearance of the skin. Here are some tips for managing eczema:

Keep the skin moisturised: 

Eczema-prone skin tends to be dry, so it's essential to keep the skin moisturised. Use a fragrance-free moisturiser that is designed for sensitive skin, and apply it regularly throughout the day.

Use gentle, fragrance-free products: 

Avoid using harsh soaps or products that contain fragrances, dyes, or other irritants. Look for gentle, fragrance-free products that are designed for sensitive skin. (Check out our Soap #1)

Take warm, not hot, showers: 

Hot water can strip the skin of its natural oils and exacerbate eczema symptoms. Take warm showers or baths, and avoid using harsh soaps or scrubs.

Avoid scratching: 

Scratching can worsen eczema symptoms and lead to infections. Use a cold compress or an anti-itch balm such as Uber Balm to soothe the skin instead of scratching.

Identify and avoid triggers: 

Eczema can be triggered by a variety of factors, including stress, certain foods, and environmental allergens. Try to identify your eczema triggers and avoid them as much as possible.
